Heating & cooling, start to finish

Residential and commercial. Every major brand. If it moves air through your building, Phillips HVAC works on it.

AC repair

Not cooling, won't turn on, running nonstop, leaking water, or making a noise it didn't used to. Aron finds the problem and tells you what the repair costs before any work starts.

New systems & replacement

Sized for your actual house, not a guess off the old unit's sticker. Free estimates, financing for qualified customers, and every major brand.

Heating

Heat pumps, heat strips and furnaces. Florida heat runs a few weeks a year and fails on the coldest night — get it checked before you need it.

Maintenance & tune-ups

Twice a year keeps a system efficient and your manufacturer warranty intact. Maintenance plans available for homes and commercial properties.

Ductwork

Leaking, crushed or undersized duct will hold back a brand-new unit every time. Inspected, sealed, repaired or replaced.

Mini-splits

Installation, service and full deep cleans. A neglected mini-split loses a lot of its output to a dirty blower wheel and coil — a proper cleaning is night and day.

Copper line sets

On older homes the insulation on the copper breaks down where it runs through the foundation, out of sight. Replacing the line set isn't always required, but it prevents future leaks and helps the system run right. You'll get a straight answer on which one you're looking at.

Thermostats

Standard and smart thermostats, installed and set up so the system actually does what the screen says.

Commercial

Service and maintenance for commercial systems up to 25 tons — filters, coils, refrigerant pressures, contactors and capacitors on a schedule.

Four things to check before you call

A lot of no-cool calls come down to something you can check in five minutes. If none of these fix it, you haven't wasted anyone's time.

  1. ThermostatSet to Cool, a few degrees below room temperature, fan on Auto. Dead batteries blank the screen and stop the call for cooling.
  2. BreakersCheck both the air handler and the outdoor unit breaker. If one trips again after you reset it, leave it off and call — that's an electrical fault.
  3. FilterA clogged filter can freeze the coil and stop cooling completely. Replace it, run the fan only for an hour to thaw, then try cooling again.
  4. Drain lineWater in the pan or a float switch that shut the system off usually means a clogged condensate line. That's a service call, and a common one in Florida.

Smell gas or burning?

Leave the house now. Don't flip switches or use your phone inside. Once you're outside, call 911 and your gas utility.

Same goes for a carbon monoxide alarm. Call Phillips HVAC after everyone is safe.

How pricing works

No surprises at the door. Here's how it works before you ever pick up the phone.

Free estimates on new systems

If you're looking at a replacement, the estimate costs nothing.

Flat diagnostic fee

Service calls carry one flat fee that covers the trip and the diagnosis. You hear the number on the phone, not at the door.

The price before the work

Once the problem is found, you get the repair cost first and decide from there.

Financing available

New systems can be financed for qualified customers, so a failed unit doesn't have to come out of savings all at once.

Maintenance plans

Scheduled tune-ups for homes and commercial properties, so small problems get caught early.

After-hours service

Available nights and weekends at a higher rate. If it can safely wait until morning, you'll be told that too.

The P goes back further than the company

The Old English P on the Phillips HVAC logo isn't a new design. It came from Aron's father's business in Delaware, Phillips Home Improvement, where the family name was built on showing up and doing the job right.

Aron brought that letter to Florida and put it on his own licensed HVAC company. Same family, same standard, a new trade.
